Prelims Exam Syllabus :
General Studies :
(i) Contemporary topics: Important national and international current events, scientific progress, national and international awards, and sports players.
(ii) India and its neighbouring countries, History of neighbouring countries, History/Culture/Geography/Economic scenario of India and Bihar, Major features of agriculture and natural resources, Constitution and political system of India, Origin and gradual evolution of India’s constitutional and parliamentary system. Development, Panchayati Raj, community development, five year plan, India’s freedom movement and contribution of Bihar in the movement.
General Science and Mathematics :
(i) General Science – Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
(ii) Questions related to mathematical number system, computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions, mutual relations between numbers, basic numerical mathematical operations, percentage, ratio and proportion, average, interest and profit and loss.
Mental Ability & Logical Reasoning :
Analysis, Visual Memory, Differentiation, Observation, Relationship Concepts, Numerical Reasoning, Numerical Numbers, Series and coding and decoding.
Mains Exam Syllabus :
Knowledge of Hindi/English language : Essay, letter writing, grammar, syntax, summarization
English/Hindi Translation :
This paper will contain passages that will be for translation from English to Hindi and from Hindi to English.
